PNEUMATIC ACTUATORS
EL-O-Matic Pneumatic actuators are powerful and compact double rack and pinion units for use with ball, butterfly and plug valves and any device requiring accurate and dependable quarter turn rotary motion.
The use of high grade steel and aluminum components together with EL-O-Matic’s patended 3 point piston support provides a tough reliable unit for the automation of today’s high performance industrial valves. Modern synthetic bearings ensure no metallic contact between moving components.
ELECTRIC ACTUATORS
El-O-Matic Electric Rotary Actuators produce upto 2500 Nm of torque.
EL SERIES ACTUATORS : EL actuators use worm and worm-wheel reduction gearing to provide tight positioning control and the self locking feature necessary for controlling larger valves, particularly butterfly types.
ELS SERIES ACTUATORS : A compact, robust range of Electric Actuators. Especially designed for small two and three way ball valves and similar drives requiring 900 or 1800 of rotation from a single phase or DC, electrical supply.
ELQ SERIES ACTUATORS : Series ELQ electric Actuators are powerful, quarter turn units with five sizes covering the torque range from 100Nm to 800Nm.
VALVE AUTOMATION SYSTEM
EL-O-Matic offers valve automation systems consisting of Butterfly, Ball, Plug and Damper valves with pneumatic or electric actuators for both on / off and modulating application. MANUAL OVERRIDE
In case of failure of the actuator, due to interruptions of compressed air supply or otherwise during maintenance, the Manual Override assists in operating the actuator / process valve. El-O-Matic MO series declutchable gear operators offer simple and reliable manual positioning of the valves, dampers and other quarter turn devices when overriding existing pneumatic or hydraulic rotary actuators. All El-O-Matic MO units combine rugged construction, light weight and modular design to provide the most efficient and cost effective solution to a full range of manual override requirements.
SOLENOID VALVES
El-O-Matic provides various combinations of solenoid valves suitable for the systems supplied for ON / OFF applications. The combinations available are 5/2, 4/2, 5/3 for double acting actuators. 3/2 for spring return actuators. Single coil or double coil, Direct acting or pilot operated, Namur or non-namur mounting, Process connection ¼” NPT as standard (other sizes optional). Operating pressure depending on the model selected, Orifice size depending on actuator size, Coil insulation class F as standard class H (optional).
POSITIONERS
Positioners provides a means for pneumatic actuator to be positioned to any point between full open & full close position. El-O-Matic offers Posiflex make Pneumatic (F10), Electro-Pneumatic (F20). Apart from these El-O-Matic also supplies E/P, P/P & SMART Positioners of various Global manufactures on request.
OTHER ACCESSORIES
Vane Damper is predominantly used on fan inlet applications, offering an enhanced level of flow and pressure control. A Radial Vane Damper has multiple blades arranged around a central hub enhancing the performance of the fan by introducing swirl into the fan inlet providing an efficient method of control. DTL’s Radial Vane Dampers can be fitted with any form of actuation allowing either local or remote modulating control. Engineered to ensure ease of maintenance and service without removing the damper from the fan and designed to withstand the high air velocities that can be experienced in use.
LIMIT SWITCH BOX
El-O-Matic supplies switches for indicating the valve / actuator position. The switches are operated by two cams on an extension of the actuator drive shaft. All mechanical parts and the switches are contained within the enclosure. Both switches are independently adjustable throughout the operating stroke, but are normally set to indicate the open or close position. The terminals of the switches are pre-wired to a terminal block which is easily accessible when the top cover is removed. The switch box is mounted on top of the actuator with an accessory bracket.
